Dr. Scriven graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1993 and moved back to Calgary. In 1994 he opened the Bow Corridor Chiropractic Clinic on Canmore's Main Street and practiced at that location until 2011.

He is a member in good standing of the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors (ACAC) and the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA).  He does manual Diversified adjusting and is Proficiency Rated in Activator Methods.
